thinking aloud

it is my last day in chicago. we are leaving for new york tomorrow and my adam has been talking about taking the route where we drive through buffalo to boston to NY. maybe that would give us a chance to stop at niagara falls which would be nice as a second trip for me, if that happens that is :) and we might stop by boston which i have never been to before. if we do that, we would probably be meeting up adam's nephew's ex gf (is that confusing yet?) and at the same time adam  would like to see the new bridge (dont ask me what bridge) and he also wants me to see harvard and boston uni. hey that was where i wanted to go and do my MA yonks ago before my plan got sabotaged (a long story...). my other half is spontaneous when it comes to doing some things especially traveling. so i really dont know what his exact plans are, which route he is following and what time we are leaving. a few weeks ago, he wanted to leave for ny on saturday evening, and that would mean today evening. but a week ago, he changed his mind and said he might be too tired to leave in the evening especially when he just finished his last class. and last weekend, he was actually considering making a trip to south dakota so that we can visit mount rushmore, where all the four US presidents' faces are. he said he wants to take pics of me there with all that steam billowing out from the surface of the mountains, awwww how sweet of him. but after calculating hours and days, that would be too much of a rush as i need to fly home on wednesday and there is no way we can make it comfortably there and back to ny. oh well, as i told him, there is always a next time. however this is our second attempt at making it to mt rushmore, the last time, it did not materialise bcos of the weather and there was a tornado coming in around that side. we had to ditch the idea at the last minute. and this time, this idea of going is a last minute idea and again we have decided finally that it wont be something good to pursue. so hopefully, next time...
today we hope to go downtown later once my other half is done with class. he wants to go to hard rock cafe chicago and get the cap for his collection, which already include HRC caps from NY, KL, bali and orlando.
time for me to run. updates soon, when and if i have the time. for the time being, i just want to make the most of my time with the man i love... yes even when he is a pain sometimes... i guess that is why i love him, he affects me in so many ways and generate all kinds of emotion in me like no one else can...
